Phil&Teds Navigator V2 Auto Stop

I have to admit I'm a big Mountain Buggy and Phil&Teds fan. It's not really a surprise that this turned up at our house one autumn day :)
Phil&Teds Navigator V2 ladies and gentleman!
I didn't keep it long because I use my MB Urban Jungle pretty much every day so I couldn't really justify two 3-wheelers but here's my quick list of pros and cons of the Navigator.

First lets look at the Phil&Teds Navigator as a single pushchair...

- fantastic large seat
- good size canopy
- very good accessible basket
- great to push over any terrain
- folds in a flash with one hand
- seat reclines completely flat so can be used from birth all the way up to 5 or 6 years of age (photos of my 5 year old in it below)
- when used as a single the second seat can be turned into a parent facing seat

- seat open at the back when reclined, there's a plastic flap that covers the gap but it's fiddly to attach and doesn't provide shade
- fold is easy but if the front wheel fork and handlebar catch on the ground when folding, front wheel fork gets scratched super easy and looks unsightly
- auto brake (red wire on handlebar) is tricky to use and makes the handlebar uncomfortable to hold on long walks
- fixed bumper bar.

And now as a double, because yes it can be a tandem, it's a Phil&Teds after all!

- great size second seat, my 2 year old had lots of space in it
- second seat can be used in the lower position for 2 toddlers or upper position for a newborn and a toddler
- still great to push even with 2 children on board
- when used for 2 toddlers both children have a good view, child underneath can look to the sides

- you lose all basket space when use for 2 toddlers
- second seat needs to be removed for folding when used in the lower position
- newborn in the main seat fully reclined has no view and is exposed to elements unless the back flap is used, tricky to put baby in the seat
- no bumper bar when second seat is on top and child seems a little perched in there with nothing to hold onto.

My overall impression is that the Navigator V2 is a fantastic single to double but I'd definitely recommend it for 2 toddlers rather than a newborn and a toddler. I absolutely loved using the Navigator V2 and if I didn't have the Mountain Buggy I'd have kept this much longer.
